Baskets made ≠ most points
This week we promised you a discount based on the number of baskets Anthony Davis did in the game versus the Spurs, The idea was to prove a point than Davis actually scores more often than, say, Harden, although not as many points. Point not proven and the idea went bad when Davis went down with an injury before the game and didn’t play at all.
Big story of the week – also including Davis – was instead that he made it known that he would not resign with New Orleans and wanted a trade. So now the NBA world is flooded with speculations where he might land with the trade deadline coming up. He was also fined $50.000 for going public with his request. We will follow that story for sure.
Not to disappoint anyone who waited for the discount on the Under Armour Hat we decided to run a 10% discount on the Hat this week even without the help from Davis.
Offer ends February 4
Week 6 – Feelings for Oladipo
The other big story of last week was the Pacer superstar Victor Oladipo going down with a season ending knee injury. These are terrible news and the whole NBA community has reached out to Oladipo.
This of course is the worst part of Basketball, but unfortunately injuries happen. Play hard, but listen to and take care of your body. Next weeks sale will be on protective gear and the discount will be the point differential in Indianas game vs the Heat on Saturday – Win or Lose. Let’s see a great team effort making up for Oladipo’s average 18.9 points.
